Charity was raised by a classically trained artist and a botany enthusiast who instilled an appreciation for nature and beauty in everyday moments. These days, it is her own childrens’ fascination with art and the outdoors that rekindles her wonder in the natural world.

Charity’s primary medium is oil painting but she also works in pencil, pen/ink, charcoal, pastel, and watercolor/gouache. Charity studied art and psychology in college. Her senior thesis was a series of sycamore trees in gouache.
